I don't know if this will help, but for babies with diarrhea doctors often prescribe the "BRAT" diet which is bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.

You may have too much fiber in your diet or some type of digestive problem that would be good to discuss with your doctor.

Contrary to what has been preached to us for years, one bowel movement a day is really the MINIMUM we should have. Several is much more healthy.

You are on a dangerous trip. Your body does what it takes to rid itself of toxins. Do not pursue this line of thinking. You can harm yourself with diarrea meds so don't try it.

If you don't mind getting colon cancer, a heart attack or a stroke the answer is to eat lots of red meat and not much else. Plenty of eggs will also slow the system down.

Furthermore, if you give up fruit and vegies that will also slow the system down and if you give up bread and cereals that will also slow down the digeston process.

I am not a doctor, yet my understanding of how our digestive system works, you don't want to slow down the digestive process...you want to add to it...add more fiber such as pysillum hulls...metamucil...sounds like you have some kind of irritation problem a going on...for it is in the intestines that we are actually absorbing our nutrients and if your food is flying out of you, rather than slowing down so your body can process the food...this doesn't sound good...

keep tract of the foods that you are a eating when this problem starts a happening...you could just be allergic to them...the most common culprits...corn, wheat, oats, night shade plants, such as potatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, and sometimes tomatoes...

With so many adulterated foods in our food supply, were they all safe and totally wholesome...which they are becoming more and more suspect to me. Who is to say that the foods you like the most...have the most pesticides in them...

You could also have a problem with candida yeast...especially if you have taken antibiotics in the past...

Try building your immune system, taking in more fiber products...to help clean out the intestines which sometimes get all junked up...for it is in the colon that health begins or ends..
Also take a 4oz. superfood drink to help build your immune system so when all the bugs and crap goes flying by you...you won't catch it...if you know what I mean?
See my site! www.onlinetoniewallace.com to find those things that I have discovered after 23 years of alternative health practice. stop by the guest book and let me know what you thought of my web site...or ask any other question of me...on my Table Talk Forum...good luck!
before I forget...what is normal to an alternative health practitioner may not be normal for a doctor...alternative health people feel that 3 bowel movements a day...if one eats three meals a day, is normal...loose runny bowels...is not a good thing...health wise...for one is loosing lots of water from their body and dehydration is common in those cases...so if my advice doesn't work and you haven't seen a doctor...get there...understand?

Also, if you are one prone to lots of suppressed anger, or are a type A personality, you might try slowing down like I have to the speed of light...for digestive problems in Chinese Medicine represents...one that can't assimulate the present moment in time...for you know there is where everything is a happening, now...Love, Light and Peace
