PARENTS: Which illness of the digestive system would you rather deal with in your children:?diarrhea or vomiting?
What if it went on for more than 3 days? Which would you rather have to deal with?

Diarrhea - at least they can go in the toilet or diaper. Vomit rarely makes it to the toilet in our house. And they smell of puke tops the smell of poop in my book any day.

Diarrhea for sure. But that said the only D we have had around here was in my potty trained 2.5 yr old so not a big deal for me. She vomitted once too and I thought that was worse.

Vomiting. It's messier, but often children do not tell you how much diarrhea they have experienced, and that is a sneaky way for dehydration to attack.

Since it would be my child,neither would bother me at all.But if I did have to pick,I would say vomiting,since you can pretty much just hand over a bucket.
It really depends on the age of the child though.Diarrhea and vomiting are awful in children under 3.Most of the cleaning comes from you and it never makes it to where it should.
