What is wrong with my digestive system?I am reposting this, after very little answer success with my previous question: Okay, so I have been throwing up frequently since age 15 (I am currently 18), usually once every couple of weeks. However, lately it has been about once a day. I feel stomach aches often, usually a few days before vomiting. Then I have fits of dry heaving during the vomiting, intense stressing of the facial features during vomiting, as well as nasal regurgitation. I also experience frequent diarrhea. My symptoms worsen in the morning, as I find I have trouble eating early in the morning, and late at night (same thing). I was diagnosed with IBS when I was 14 and was put on fiber pills which made constipation worse...now it has become diarrhea instead, and I have started vomiting.
What could this be? Where do I go from here?
Have gone to the doctor, but they didn't really listen.
Was never bulemic.

It sounds like a very bad case of acid reflux, in which case you need to go see a doc.

Sounds like you need to go to a doctor...it could be a range of things...including cancer. Or it could just be the IBS....
are you on any medications...that could cause this...
are you seriously going to ask people on yahoo anwsers instead of seeing someone more qualified???

To start with... were you bullimic when you were younger? That could have caused the constant vomiting... and it can explain all of the symptoms that you experience as well. The bowel symptoms are just that. Your doctors just need to find a regimen that works for you. I have heard that the new yougurt "Activia" works quite well. My friend had some of the same symptoms too and he used that and it worked.

if you don't take care of yourself and you let something go on too long it can turn into a permanet illness. so you better get checked ASAP by a doctor and don't wait.
