Coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease that, through a complex interaction of enzymes, results in the inability of the small intestine to absorb nutrients; the villi tend to break down.
People who develop (or are even born with) coeliac disease must avoid wheat or its close relatives, as they are sensitive to gluten.

Crohn`s disease is an auto immune disorder which causes the small and large intestine to inflame. It is classified as a type of inflammatory bowel disease and causes problems with vitamine and mineral absorption, obstruction of the intestines and can lead to a higher risk of intestinal cancer. Athough it can affect other organ systems causing leasions to appear on the skin, eye pain, and also a decrease in energy. there is no cure for the disease but can be managed.
