What is causing my digestion problem?I have a severe bloating feeling anytime I eat meals that consist of more than about 300 calories. I cannot eat anything with grease, fat, sugar, or excessive protein. The pain is usually on both of my sides and sometimes moves up into my stomach area just below my ribs. I have tried diets that cut out fats, simple carbs, and caffeine. Currently I can only eat about 3-4 times a day as long as the meals are small. If I start to get this feeling, I usually have to lie down and cannot move or eat for about 12-16 hours. I also break out in cold sweats. I used to have heartburn, but my doctor has prescribed me Prevacid to get rid of it. She also has me scheduled to take an ultrasound of my gall bladder, but does not think that is the case because the pain is not just in upper-right quadrant of my abdomen, but the whole area.
First of all, the doctor has ruled out any problems with my bowels as I have regular movement and I have an excessive amount of gas. I have not had a colonoscopy or any other type of eploratory procedures done because we are not that far along with trying to find out the diagnosis. Also some of you do not get the fact that this happens to me no matter what I eat. I have had this occur after eating a piece of crab (just 1 leg), or a bowl of vegetables, or a package of crackers.

I just ate a cup of frozen Italian ice and now I feel like I am going to explode.
No, I don't drink alcohol. I have not had any alcohol in almost a year. Even when I do drink, it is in small amounts because I usually have to do the driving. Never have been a heavy drinker.

As for sugars, I do not eat them excessively. I used to eat probably more than I should, but lately I have cut them almost completly out of my diet.

Also this is a problem taht has gottne progressively worse for the past 4-5 years.

With all of your cooked meals you should try to cook with steam that should keep the vitamins in that your body needs with meat such as Bacon you should cook in water for five minutes this gets rid of excess salt and fat, try to take a Laxative 10 minutes before your meal this will help you digest your food while you are eating it, try not to eat any fat foods for about five days, go to your local shopping center and get yourself some sweet Mandeln (nuts) thats a German word i dont know the name in english, take and chew on them six a day for about two weeks this will put a lining on your stomach and help you to stop having blown up feelings, exercise your stomach muscles do this by sitting on a hard backed chair legs together in front of you join you hands together in front of you and move the top half of your body slowly at first from left to right this will first loosen then strengthen the muscles below you rib cage. I have had this problem that you now have for a number of years so i know what your going through, stick to small meals no sweet stuff no vinegar no wine for at least a week then give the nuts a chance to make the lining on your stomach ok let me know through Yahoo answers how you get on I wish you good health....

First of all I would suggest you have a Colon Cleanse as it sounds like you are not eliminating properly. Also meat is very hard to digest and it takes 3 days to properly digest red meats. If you are eating meat every day you are probably getting too much protein. Then after the cleanse you need to take Enzymes for your digestion and Flora to put the good bacteria into your colon. You probably have parasites as well. I know we do not like to think of these things, but never the less it is true and 85% of people have them, and there are over 150 different kinds. They eat the nutrients in your food and leave their garbage inside of you,
If you would care to email me I will share more my address below
I believe you are really plugged up with fecal matter I would like to help you.

i think you may have irritable bowel syndrome meaning your bowel or intestines is hypersensitive and cannot tolerate some food or large amount of food, however, since you have not spoken about having diarrhea after eating then it could be another condition. it could be in your gallbladder because of your fat intolerance if not in your gallbladder then have your liver checked because it helps with fat digestion. see your doc and i hope everything works for you. GOd bless you.
