What doctor would I see for digestive problems ?

What doctor would I see for digestive problems ?Would I need to go see my general doctor or do I need to see a specialist? Also, I think I'm starting to develop hemroids... Is that seen by a proctologist?

Gastroenterologist aka GI specialist. Not may doctors are proctologist anymore. They are the broader entire digestive tract doctors of the gastroenterology.
