If your surgery was that long ago, there wasn't much laser surgery out there. Older surgeries can develop adhesions which can be painful. Adhesions are where the scar tissues attaches. They are not all that uncommon especially when a surgery was that long ago. I would definetly go to the Dr. and get it checked out. It may be something simple and easily fixed before more problems arise. Good Luck

If you are going to the Dr he should be able to tell you something. At least he is the best place to start!

The scar tissue may be irritated. If this is the case, sometimes the extra scar tissue can be removed.

I hope your doctor appointment goes well and you get through this quickly!

Good luck.

Edit: The first answerer said it better!
