Question about digestive enzymes?I have acid reflux and was recently diagnosed with barrett's esophagus. I've been reading about digestive enzymes so I think I'm going to try a digestive enzyme. I just don't know which one is best. There are just so many digestive enzyme supplements out there. So my question is what digestive enzyme supplement is best?

Truth be told, any answer given here will just be personal opinion (I can give you my opinion if you'd like). There are many higher quality companies out there that are readily available and well priced... just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide).
With enzymes, it's also a good idea to make sure there's a good variety of content. Specifically, there should be some Amylase, Protease, and Lipase among others, but most of the better formulas have at least 6-8 different enzymes. Good luck and I hope I helped!

acid reflux is caused by antibiotics killing your good bacteria. eat something with "live active cultures". the best digestive enzyme is living veggies like carrots just pulled out of the ground.
