Natural ways to help digestive system?Lately I've been having problems with my digestive system. I always feel bloated and gassy and rarely have a strong appetite. I'll get really nauseous a couple of days then just back to feeling bloated, gassy, and sick. Sometimes I'll get diarrhea, other times I'm lucky to go at all. At first I thought it could have been milk 'cause I'd only get sick after drinking milk. Now, it's more prolonged, so I don't think it's lactose intoloerance. So I've been considering fiber, probiotics like acidophilus, and maybe even trying that danactive yougurt challenge?
Anyone else have any thoughts/suggestions?
Ok...there are a lot of good suggestions so far. The milk thing seemed to start it all a few weeks ago. When I was younger, I would get sick when I would drink whole milk. So I'm going to try cutting out all milk in my diet.
I've also been under a lot of stress lately. I graduated from college in may and now live with my mom and her boyfriend who fight constantly. At school I would walk everywhere and ate fairly healthy. Because I'm living at home and have no job, I don't get much say in what groceries are kept in the house. She loves all the unhealthy stuff and thinks healthy food is pointless. (At school, I ate a lot of whole grains, soy protein, and fruits and veggies. Here, I'm lucky if she lettuce.)
So with the added stress of them fighting, diet changes, and the reduced activity levels, could this be the cause of my problems? Any recommendations for stuff that would help?
(Sorry if it's a dumb question)

I have heard of this new Plum juice on the market and have seen it on the shelves. It's supposed to help with digestion. Also I heard prune juice is helpfull with that.

Well if milk caused it, maybe try cutting out all dairy for a while and see how it goes. And it could be your diet, like if you eat greasy foods, and processed flours. Beans maybe? When I had a dairy problem, which I still do, I would sometimes get this, but now that I eat tiny amounts of dairy if any, I don't get it at all. Just experiment with that thought. Also try maybe some yoga to loosen up your hip area, and improve digestive flow

Bromelain is wonderful to heal the stomach lining and has digestive enzymes~
can be purchased at health food stores and they in turn can maybe find what the root cause of your problem is~
probiotics is a very good idea

Try a fibre/green supplements first thing in the morning. Make sure you drink plenty of water or fluids throughout the day.
Have a digestive enzyme, 3/day - half an hour before each meal.
