my husband had lettuce in his bowel 12 hours after eating it. Is that a bad digestive problem?He also gagged when brushing his teeth and threw up some lettuce. Could this be from irritable bowel syndrome or something worse.

Hes a bunny lol Im joking...its normal being that the human body cannot digest over a certain amount of fiber in a day. He has to mix it up and consume about 1-2 servings of lettuce a day. I had the same problem when I diet before a competition. He'll be fine, just mix up his meals and slow down on the salad.

Certain foods are high in insoluble fiber. That means it's impossible to digest them. t's normal. If it causes him any other problems, ie, diarrhea or pain then have him see a doc
