Long Term Digestive Problems?

Long Term Digestive Problems?OK well first I'll give this a bit of context in terms of what's going on. Last summer I was having some acid stomach problems. I went to the doctor and got prescribed prevacid (acid reducer) to treat it. I took them for about a month like I was supposed to and that seemed to clear everything up. However in September I started having the acidy feeling again on and off throughout the day so I started taking the left over Prevacid again. About two weeks ago I started having even more digestive issues. It didn't feel acidy any more as much as it felt like I had really bad gas but it wasn't really going anywhere. I also experienced nausea and constipation. It's slightly better now but I'm still getting the gas which I think is caused by a bunch of foods. I do have gluten intolerance so I haven't eaten wheat in a year or two but rice and corn and many other grains seem to be effecting me now as well. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? I'm signed up to see a gastroenterologist in January so don't just suggest that I do that. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what this is, specific diets that may help, or even what I can expect when I see the gastroenterologist. If you suggest dietary cures please bear in mind that I'm also lactose intolerant.
Final List of Symptoms:
Gas that isn't effected much by GasX (I'm reasonably sure that it's effected by what I eat)
Nausea
Constipation
Acid Stomach

Thanks in advance!

It could be that you don't produce enough enzymes to digest the foods you eat. You can buy them fairly cheaply at a drug store. I have been your route and that did it for me. Get the enzymes that include lactose intolerance. You could eat an icecream if you had a capsule before and after! Imagine that! No side effects.
