A key here is to know the latin/greek roots. For example"
Myo=muscle
SO, anything that has myo in it (almost always) has to do with muscles.
For example: FibroMYAlgia= Chonic pain in muscles, joints etc.
Muscular Dystrophy: Wasting away of the muscles. It is genetic and is because of a lack of a protein called dystrophin. It is usually fatal at a young age. It is named after the protein dystrophin, without which the muscle gets damaged and eventually dies. To remember it, think atrophy=death.
These are just to name a few.
