Jiggly eyeball, what's up? Am I getting Parkinson's?Recently I notice late at night and when I wake up in the morning my right eye has been vibrating left to right slightly. I am an artist, and I have been spending a lot more time drawing than I ever have. Is this just eye strain, or might I have a muscular/nervous system disorder like Parkinson's? I know you are going to say get it checked out by a doctor, but I am broke, and I don't want to wait 8 hours at the county hospitol.

My mother has been diagnosed with early stage Parkinsons, and she did have eye problems but she also has pain in her legs when she sleep or rests and pain in her shoulder.

I would think that it's just eye strain, since you need to have more than one symptom before thinking it's parkinsons. dont be so paranoid...BUT

what about your eyesite? Is your head hurting as well? If so, then could be that you need glasses, and if you have them, then maybe you need a higher prescription...OR could be a thyroid issue, as that would give you a feeling like your eye is going to bulge out...

My suggestion would be to try and take it easy for a while, and then see if the strain/eye feeling thing still persists, and if you can eliminate eye strain as an option, then worry, and seek help!

I think it must be a strain. If it were parkinson's it would be uncontrolable, and parkinsons usaullly affects more then your eye. But if it gets worse or it becomes you really do need to see a doctor[yeah i know you said no] but Parkinson's is really serious. I my self spend MUCH time on the computer and find that sometimes my eyes become twitchy in the morning. Good luck and I hope it doesnt get worse!
