Is there a disorder where your stomach can not tell your brain it is full?I can think of the name of it but i thought there was a disorder where someone had to control there eating without even knowing when there full because there was something wrong with the nerves that go from the stomach to the brain........or something like that does anyone know?

overeating, obesity and someone who has no control in eating and just focused on gratifying their taste buds rather than the nutrition they can get from it.

Prader-Willi Syndrome. It was on CSI Las Vegas.

i read about some research they did with rats, when they damaged or removed the hypothalamus and the rats would eat like crazy (pics were sad to see) and die from overeating.
Im sure that this disorder will be related with the hypothalamus, maybe that will make ur search easier.
good luck!

I know of someone who has multiple sclerosis, and cannot sense when she is full. It's a difficult situation as she had gastric bypass surgery and needs to pay close attention to feeling full. I would get this checked out. Maybe it's not MS, but that was her first symptom, and if it is, there are many effective treatments that will dramatically slow the progression of the disease, especially if treated early on.
