Is there any side effect associated with digestive enzymes?My friend is taking digestive enzymes which he swears to be natural and void of any side effects, yet I noticed that he often complains of digestive and stomach problems and irregularities. Is there a connection between the two? Are there any known side effects to taking these digestive enzymes.

No. We all need them. Most likely he had the stomach prob lems first.
