Ok erm i havent got too much time so i am just scan reading this quickly and picking the answers i can do.
Ok erm right the "How do we test for-" question...
Starch - Iodine
Glucose - Benedicks solution
Fats and Lipids - ok its quite hard to explain but we have done it and you have to get the substance and rub it onto white paper. You then wait and if the paper goes translucent (almost see through) then there is fat present.
Proteins - Copper Sulphate and Sodium Hydroxide
erm ok the question "What disease wuld you have if you can't make enough red blood cells?"
The answer is Anemia (there is a good lot of info about it on wikipedia if u need more)

I am pretty sure it is Hemoglobin but as i said you can check wikipedia.

Basically the particles are much close together in steel because it is a solid so the vibration is able to travel more rapidly. Air is a gas so the particles are much more spread out and this makes the movement of vibrations slower.
Ok thats just about all i am 100% sure on. But like i said wikipedia is a great place for revision. I will put the link in the source box for you.

Aerobic respiration is respiration which uses oxygen:
glucose + oxygen = water + carbon dioxide + ENERGY
C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6H2O + 6CO2 + ENERGY
Word equation for photosynthesis:
in the presence of sunlight + chlorophyll
Carbon dioxide + water -------> glucose + oxygen + energy
Balanced chemical equation:
6CO2 + 6H2O ---> C6H12O6 + 6O2
To test starch: Iodine. will turn blue black if starch is present.
test glucose : Benedict's solution.
test fats and lipids: not sure
test proteins: Million's reagent. Heat. Forms brick-reed precipitate.
1st is combustion, not balanced, should be :
C3H8 + 5O2 --> 3CO2 + 4H2O
2nd is not balanced:
3Ca + 2H3PO4 --> Ca3(PO4)2 + 3H2
3rd is not balanced also:
BaCO3 + 2HNO3 --> Ba(NO3)2 +H2O +CO2
(Tips: Just tackle d side with odd number, or add d side with less number so that both sides have equal moles of the compounds)
Liver stores food(glucose especially) while Large intestines absorb water....
Kidney removes urea, minerals such as salt, and toxic wastes. Don't ever put glucose in ur answer. Unless the person has diabetics...
Sound is transmitted via vibration. Particles in air collide with each other, passing the energy to another place...
Sound cannot travel without the help of particles, since there are so many particles in solids(highly compacted), so, sound travels faster in solids than in air(less particles)...

PHOTOSYNTHESIS- is the complete opposite of respiration
Carbon Dioxide + Water= ( +light and chlorophyll)=Glucose + Oxygen
tests-starch-
1. plant is put in darkness for 24 hours.
2. part of one leaf is covered and plant is put in light for 24 hours.
3. paper is removed after this time an the leaf cut off.
4. the leaf is soften in boiling water for a Minuit.
5. put it in alcohol
6. and the alcohol and leaf are warmed in hot water
7. the alcohol removes the green chlorophyll.
8. the take out the leaf and put it in some iodine.
9. the BLACK area is where starch is present and the brown areas are where its not.
i don't know anything else.
