How can I fix my digestive health?

How can I fix my digestive health? My stomach area is very tight! It is very discomforting; I am constipated and have tried everything: Granola bars, fiber gummies, cereal, wheat thins, water, exercise, and nothing is working. Any advice on what I can do to kick my digestive system back into action?

If you just want to poop, drink some coffee. I find it just gets everything moving. After that get some pro-biotic yogurt to eat everyday. Or you can get a digestive supplement as well to help you out. Hope that helps!

coffee and a cigarette may help. All my friends say that cigs make them have to poop right away. Dont know why.

You need to drink lots of water (no less than 2 litres per day). You need fibre - 24 - 38 grams per day. Stop eating fake fibre, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grain breads, etc.. Eat probiotic yogurt. Eat dried fruits. Eat papaya. Eat more essential fatty acids, such as omega 3.

Avoid dairy (cheese, ice cream, whole milk, cream, pastries, etc.). Avoid fatty meat. Avoid sugar.

Go to the drug store and ask for their store brand of colace which is a stool softener. Take one to two pills per day until things are working well for you.

Eat more freshly prepared food (ie. not fast food, frozen food), avoid sugar and white flour products. Get some digestive enzymes and probiotics at the health food store. Drink more water. Exercise -- at least a 30 minute walk a day (preferably 2 walks).
Antibiotics can cause chronic constipation.
