help with stomach digestive problems?sigh- um..
ok i keep having diarrhea a lot. i have first had it when i was 10 after eating french toast sticks. it happened again when i was 11 after eating blueberry waffles. and a bunch of other times...

and when i was i think 12 i had a stomach virus which is like the flu, but it starts in your stomach. my mom took me to the doctor and when the doctor used the stethoscope and put it by my stomach, she said my stomach was "grouchy" (i guess that means my stomach keeps rumbling) and asked if i was feeling nauseous, like at home and stuff but i wasn't sure, i do sometimes, and she said that if i eat any hard food, i should stop or i might of diarrhea(something like that..)

well during that time i had a stomach virus, i didn't have diarrhea. but when i was normal, i had it every now and then.

ok now i'm 13, and i have it A LOT. every saturday night, i keep getting diarrhea. i get diarrhea every week or every 2 weeks. and it's always on saturdays at night. it doesn't matter what i eat, or what i drink, weather it's healthy or not, i keep getting diarrhea.

it sometimes happened when i drank ice tea, and another time from eating a corn muffin.

and i think the doctor was right, i am feeling nauseous now, and my stomach does feel "grouchy". why does this happen? what causes it? how can i make it stop? this never happened when i was younger, it first happened when i was 10.

i never told my mom b/c we rarely talk to each other, and i'm very shy. i am also 13 years old. please help me. this is a serious problem.

Please tell your mom about this. You should go and see a doctor. I'm alot older, but have had similar problems. I was diagnosed with IBS and have to really watch what I eat. You could have that, you could have celiac disease (just means you cannot have gluten), you may have a food allergy or sensitivity. These are all things that can be dealt with, but you need to get it checked out. It may be as simple as getting more soluble fiber into your diet too. Alot of doctors brush off stomach problems as just a grouchy stomach, but if you are having this problem consistently for years there is obviously something more to it. I know it's embarrassing to talk about, but really this is nothing new for doctors to hear. Your body is trying to tell you something and you need to figure out what it is!

Talk to your mom. Perhaps you are under some stress of some kind. That gave me a "nervous" stomach.

Make sure you talk to your mom, that's important.
