Does anyone give there Cockatiel gravel'n grits for a digestive aid ?she was having some lose stool, and i have started giving her gravel 'n grits and it has gone away

Absolutley not, its not neccessary for any other birds except pigeons.
Cockatiels, parrots, parakeets, and the like dont need gravel because they are able to break apart their food with their beaks (they are hook-billed) pigeons need it because they swallow their food whole and therefore need grit in thier stomach to break it up and make it digestible... Believe me they dont need it.

Cockatiels don't need grit or gravel because they can hull their seeds. Birds that can't hull seeds and swallow their food whole, like pigeons, need gravel to digest their food. If you're feeding your cockatiel certain foods, like iceburg lettuce, the stool can get watery and loose. With diarrhea, a cockatiel will usually have poop stuck to its vent. If you don't believe any foods are causing the loose stool, then you'll need to have your cockatiel examined by an avian vet to determine the cause and get it treated.

not the grits and gravel just like they said above but also stop feeding your bird some fruit for a few days. give them seeds or pellet or the mixture of seed and pellet, if they are trained to eat pellets, the loose stool will turn back to normal.
