Does anybody have Sour Stomach and what do you do to ease it down?I have tried Tums and Rolaids, Pepto Bismol and they just don't work; I need help to underdstand this Chronic illness because it keeps me up at night and I am losing sleep over this and it makes me real ill the next day.
I do have Gastrointestinal Reflux Disease and still don't know how in the world I got that, but I did.

I've been taking Prilosec for years now. I have GERD too. Prilosec is available by presciption or over the counter- in the US. It takes 14 days for it to get into your system I think, but once it has it does the trick. I take it daily and no more heartburn and I can eat whatever I want. I let myself run out of them the other day and I was so sick!!! I'll never do that again.
