Digestive System Questions?I took the digestive system test the other day (It had 100 questions) and I got a 90%. Most of the ones that I missed were true and false. I saw the ones that I missed and I wasn't sure why I missed them. The ones that missed were the following:
1. The appendix serves no digestive function ever-True
2. The longest part in the small intestine is the Ileum- True
3. Fats take longer to digest than carbs and proteins- True
4. Food stays in the small intestine 6 hours-True
I am probably wrong but could someone please clear this up. Thanks in advance.

1. Appendix is a vestigial organ humans don't need, monkeys need it to digest leaves
2. Duodenum, jenunum, and ileuma are the 3 parts of the small intestines, Ileum being the longest at 4m
3. Fats need to be broken up more because they are long chains so they need more time for processing
4. It takes about 24hrs for food to leave the body, so 6 hrs is not an unreasonable time for food to stay in the small intestines
Hope this helps :)
