Could I be pregnant? Or is it just illness?Last Tuesday I was booked in to get the implanon fitted as birth control, (That day was chosen because I was supposed to start my period that day and the doctor specified that I needed to be on my period to have it fitted.) I got the usual cramps and sense of nausea the day before- which normally indicates that my period is coming (without these tablets I have I do throw up every time I get my period- that is normal for my body).
However these cramps weren't as horrible as they normally are. When I had the appointment my period hadn't started- I went to the doctors and didn't have the implanon fitted and was told to try and book another appointment when I had started.
Before September I had extremely irregular periods. Ever since my period has been on the 26th and 28th of the month. Therefore I booked my appointment to be on the 28th. When my period did not come that day I did not worry since February is only 28 days long (my last period started on the 28th feb) -my cycle seems to be around 30 days so I didn't worry that it hadn't started, I did the math and figured my period should probably start on thursday or friday. Ever since I have been having tummy cramps.
BUT- to make things more confusing, I picked up some bug on wednesday (I think) and by thursday was feeling rotten. Since friday I've been sneezing/ coughing and having quite a bad cold.I also was not having the best of times in the toilet.... o////o....I know a bit much information but this could have either been from the illness or the fact that, when I do get my period my digestive system goes a bit dodgy.
Before I got my period I got the typical warning signs- feeling super bloated and a couple of mood swings- nothing unusual. In past month we have been using condoms/ pull out method (he has controlled himself and there were no accidents AND with his pre*** to avoid those problems he made sure to go to the toilet and have a wee so that there would be no sperm there.)
From what I've told you (sorry its so much), does it sound like I missed my period (or I am late) due to PREGNANCY or ILLNESS? Should I get a test done?
***And I know I sound the stupid fool for not having got birth control sorted but I have been trying to get it sorted since before christmas- after this last appointment (3rd attempt at getting the implant fitted) the doctor- who before provided condoms then gave me the pill so when my period did start I could take those and then head to the doctors to get the implanon fitted.***

Your period may be late due to the bug. After it passes wait a few days and if it still hasn't started I recommend taking a home pregnancy test or going to your doctor to get one done. Good luck!

TL;dr. But if you bonked anyone without a johnny, then yes, you could be pregnant.
