absolutely. stop eating dairy immediately. also avoid all fermented foods and sugar in all forms as yeast feeds on sugar/carbs. go to a health food store and buy some acidophilus which is a direct inhibitor of yeast overgrowth, large doses of garlic can also help. be careful to take these as directed on the bottle massive die-off of yeast can actually make you feel worse for a few days and there's no reason to put your body through that................good luck

Surely. 4 capsules of Caprcin from Professional Specialties 3 times a day with meals destroys all the Candida Fungus. EFA's, garlic capsules and vitaminB with extra Biotin, are all ESSENTIAL. In battleing this. Avoid aged cheeses, alcohol, chocolate, dried fruits, all graind containing gluten, ham, honey, nut butters, pickles, raw mushrooms, soy sauce, sprouts, sugar of all forms, vinegar and all yeast products. Also eliminate all forms of citrus fruit from your diet for one month and then add them back only a few twicw weekly. These fruits are alkaline forming and candida thrives on them. Eat vegetables and meats. Consume also brown millet rice and acidophilus. To prevent reinfection, change your toothbrush every 30 days. Candida Forte from natures plus is good for mild cases od candidiasis.

Yes. Sugar feeds yeast, so take as much out of your diet as possible. You need to take a probiotic, like Acidopholus or Vitadopholus. Intestinal yeast infections are awful, nasty things. Many MD's overlook this. If you need help, ask a pharmacist. They will able to help you. I work at a drug store, and find that the pharmacists are actually more helpful than any doctor I've ever been to. Probiotics are safe.....you cannot overdose on them. My cousin's 3 year old has a yeast infection from taking antibiotics when she was 18 months old. If your infection is bad enough, you might need to take nistatin (sp). Good luck!
