Can a poor digestive problem (i.e. after food or types of food) cause achy, tired leg muscles?I've had a digestive problem for ages now ever since I got over Mono, but my legs just seem to want to buckle or have no energy getting up hills after I've eaten food. I also get bad anxiety. Can poor digestion make legs feel really knackered and achy?

Possibly, because you might not be getting some of the nutrients you need. Have you consulted a doctor about perhaps some supplements or dietary changes you can make?

Good luck!

It's not a question of poor digestive system.Your digestive system is okay.As you know at an average, every human being has about 5.5 liters of blood circulating in the body and about 80 percent of the supply is required by the brain for proper functioning. After eating food a lot of it is diverted towards stomach to facilitate digestion, hence one feels drowsy and want to relax a bit.It is more pronounced with some people and less with others as per their body constitution.Similarly less supply is available to the limbs also, hence the concept of business lunch which is lighter as compaired to when you are on a holiday, to remain active.Have you heard of sports persons performing after a full stomach meal.So next time when you go up hill, have only light refreshments and see the different yourself.

Yes it is possible. Your system becomes sluggish and therefore you can become more achy.
