First, the food is chewed in the mouth. Then it goes down to the stomach where it is broken down further by the churning. It then goes in to the small intestine where most of the nutrients are absorbed. The large intestine takes out water and vitamin and then it goes out the anus.

Mouth, esophagus, stomach, duodenm then small intestine, large intestine (colon), anus.

Mechanical digestion(mouth, stomach), chemical digestion(stomach..a little bit in the mouth- amylase: chemical that breaks down starches- in the stomach: pepsin, an enzyme and HCl, hydrochloric acid),
small intestine uses reabsorbtion to take out nutrients and is the last place of digestion.

Your digestive system is very important. This system breaks down the food you eat with two methods- mechanical digestion and chemical digestion. These two thing help your stomach grind you food up. Then the rest of you digestive system, large intestine, small intestine, gallbladder, liver, and pancreas help sort the fats and other things and prepare to extract it through your anus.
