can anxiety cause symptoms in the GI tract?like.. nausea or diahreha? Sometimes when i get a freak out attack i feel like i have eaten something bad or am about to come down with the stomach virus. When i was younger and before i was officially being treated for anxiety i had these problems all the time and the docs tried treating me for ulcers and IBS. Now that i am getting treatment for anxiety and getting over it with coping skills and counseling i don't have as many problems like that... wonder if they are connected

Yes, they are very much connected. Anxiety can worsen heart burn and give you all kinds of gastrointestinal symptoms. I've had similar problems myself, and pretty much every doctor has inquired about my stress and anxiety levels.

Anxiety is the mother of all evil........it can cause many issues and bring about illnesses........go to one of the states like Washington, California that allow you to smoke weed. Don't smoke just any weed, smoke what they call "Cheese". It gives you a different effect :-) makes you laugh!!! develops a smile that seems to never go away......lol tc, aj
