Advise needed - Digestive symptoms?

Advise needed - Digestive symptoms?Hi,

I am 25 years old, Indian. I have been having a few digestive issues of late. I had constipation for a while and I improved my diet. Started taking a lot of fibre, started exercising more and cut down on sweets. Initially, I used out eat out three times a day and I knew I was eating crap, but I was just lazy to cook after a whole day of work. I also took some pro-biotics (Kiefer) and Prune juice and I think it helped. But I feel I have had alternating bouts of constipation and diarrhea. This morning I notice that I had thin stool. Also the color was greenish and it was not well formed. There is no pain or blood or fatigue of any sort. I visited a doctor (Gastro) as well and he checked me up for ascites etc. He asked me to come for a follow up exam and told me that everything was fine and I should relax. Its been stressful at work and I do not know if that has any affect on this. I haven't lost any weight in the past 9 months. Its been exactly the same. Out of curiosity, I just put these symptoms online today and I got some real shocking outliers - like cancer etc.... I am just scared and wanted to know if anyone could advise me on this. I do not seem to have any other issue like tiredness or anything, but its just that I feel that I have not had perfect digestive functions for a few weeks now. I have had a really bad diet routine for about a year now, but am trying to improve and have made good progress. Also, I am drinking a of water (though it makes me use the restroom more often). I have not used any laxatives. Any advise? Anything I should do?

Thanks in advance!

There's nothing wrong with taking a laxative every now and then. Just don't take them regularly. Use Senna natural vegetable laxative, which is recommended by most doctors.

All things in moderation: food, amounts of food, spices, dairy, fats, etc. No fast food or sodas. An apple a day keeps the doctor away and in your case I would suggest citrus and some chamomile tea and mint tea. Rest and sleep regularly and you must exercise every day. Stress causes lots of problems so I recommend play and laughter.
Stop worrying if the doctor checked you out and ruled out cancer.

This is not medical advise.
