Well... When a wolf eats its prey, sometimes it eats the bones as well. It would be expected that the tiny sharp bone fragments would rupture the digestive system (stomach and/or intestines) when they pass through as poop. However, for reasons unexplained, the digestive system somehow organizes the bone shards so they point the right way and don't cut anything on their way out of the anus.
