What are the causes of upper digestive problems?My daddy has been having this problem. His upper digestive system has been hurting him for about a week now. He has a pain in his stomach and he has a lot of gas. He also keeps burping. I wanna know what causes this to happen.

Can be ulcer...
may have emotional component... he may have one or more of the following...
1. worrying
2. unable to accept so issues
3. Desire to stay in the comfort zone
4. Regrets (wanting to live in the past)
5. feeling that everyone is against you
6. fear of losing security (e.g. job, etc)
