What are the best steps for a healthy digestive system?What could I do to improve my digestive system? Lately i've been having the worst stomach pains after I eat. I'm lactose intolerant, but even when I don't eat dairy I still get that queasy sick feeling. I'm not pregnant! thats for sure. I usually eat a 1,500 calorie diet.

Drink lots of water and eating a good amount of fiber. Water helps your digestion system "flush" everything out.

do you eat a balanced diet with equal amounts of acids and alkalines? You can have an overabundance of acids as well as too little, and the pains that are experienced are the same

high fiber/fluid low fat/red meat diet is recommended for most adults and some overweight kids. eat as many veggies as you want however limit the lettuce intake since its hard to digest. some fat is recommended in your diet but it should be the good fat , almonds for one are a good source. document any food the trigger the cramping pain and pay attention to the effect of consuming them every time.
probiotics are a great way to restore natural flora in your GI track. there are new produces on the market that are good for you and provide the right amount of flora. in your local store yogurt section look for danactive or activia and in the cheese section you will find some that say they are for you GI track.

Two weeks ago, I was constantly bloated, and stomach pain. I took , Acidophilus advance formula, and Digestive Aid, (with enzyme) . The pain is gone, and the bloating is gone. Take acidophilus before meal, and Digestive aid, after meal. It helped me, I'm sure it will help you too!!!!
