omg so cool, how does this WORK?So.. won't go into graphic details, but I have been having digestive problems for about a month, and on and off throughout the year. Last night I drank some raspberry leaf tea, hoping to help out with my amenhorrea.. but omg, for the first day in almost a month my digestive system is working properly, and I know it has to be related to the tea

is this a common effect of raspberry leaf tea? how does it work? sorry if this is a stupid question but I'd really love to know
both great answers, how can I decide? thanks for helping me out

Actually, yes. Raspberry leaves have been recommended by European herbalists for hundreds of years for digestive tract and respiratory health. It also happens to help with various aspects of hormonal health including the transition into menopause. I'm glad you've found such a simple remedy!

Its the tannic acid found in the tea most likely, but really, its hard to say. It does seem to tone the internal organs.

I say this - in moderation, [and as long as you have no plans on getting pregnant, because there is some evidence that it might play a role in miscarriage] - if you get a benefit from it, I don't see too much harm in drinking a cup or so a day.

That said, if you notice a change in your menstral bleeding in the next couple of months, that might be the cause....doesn't happen to everyone, but it does to enough that I thought I would give you a heads up to the possibility.
