She has absolutely no pain Rt.side of upper abdomen or no digestive problems. Her bowel & bladder movements are normal. She is mildly hyperrtensive. CVS & Chest findings normal. Her blood gucose level normal. Total cholesterol level was 215 mg/dl but on taking Lipitor- 10mg daily it came down to 165mg/dl.

Gall stones are formed by concentrated bile, cholesterol and Calcium. High level of Cholesterol are indicative to formation of gall stones and routine ultrasound test would be adviseable to those who have high cholesterol to see if there is stone formation in Gall Bladder, or anywhere. The accidental discovery certainly helps you in one way i.e. only one stone has been formed yet, and secondly the solitary stone formed must be of small size and easy to expel. Normally no signs of gall stone formation is found in many of the patients and in some they die of other reasons with stones intact and giving them no trouble. But the early indications are burping, gastric disorders, difficulty in digestion of oil and oily food etc.
Since you have talked about herbal treatment, there are recorded cases in homeopathy in which gall stones have been removed by Olive Oil and Lemon juice. What is required is to take one glass of olive oil and the juice from one lemon. Sip the oil and take a small sip of lemon juice (so that the patient do not vomit)alternating each until the oil is completely finished. To be done in empty stomach. It is said that this need be taken only once and no repetition is normally required.
In a case which I have dealt with, initially, the lady who was above seventy had nausea and tendency to vomit, except that no other symptoms were noticed after drinking oil. In fact, next day onwards her stools etc. became perfect. Though taken twice it did not remove the multiple stones which were of upto 17mm and might have formed in many many years. I, on my side therefore did not expect a miraculous result there.
I cannot say about small stones as the stools have to be seived in order to know that, which was not done. However, there was possibility of small stones expelled because the next xray found a different inexplicable dimension and the doctors said they looked like glued together.
. But the lady was under my care for more than 6 months and during these six months, she did not feel any uneasiness even and were under homeopathic treatment. The medicines used were, Beriberis Vulgaris Q, Chionanthus Q, Hydrastis Q., Calcaria Carb 200, Pulsatilla 30, Hydrangea Q., Fel Tauri Q., Pareira Brava Q, Belladonna 200, Cantharis 30 at various times as per evolving symptoms. She was ultimately operated upon to remove the stones. She is having more problems after the operation than before the operation but do not have to suffer the kind of pain the Cholelithiasis and other ailments would demand her to bear.
There are two school of thoughts, one argue that a stone found in Gall bladder should be immediately removed by operation, and the other argue that it should be operated only when it tends to give pain and troubles. My views would be all stones can be removed if detected suficiently early by medicines in homeopathy.
In any case, I can not believe that any organ was given to the body without any use to the human body, that it can be removed with ease. And if the organ is removed, it can never reduce the suffering but can only add to the suffering, therefore, unless it is absolutely necessary any organ should not be removed. And secondly, what happens to the concentration of bils and concommitted formation of stones after the removal of the gall bladder? what remedy is being suggested by those who argue for immediate surgery? None.
But in homeopathy, looking at the stones and examining them in the lab and finding out its constitution, whether calcarea (calcium), oxalic or uric; enough remedial medicines like oxalic acid, urtica urensis, and other medicines according to symptoms can be given to prevent further formation of stones. She is slightly obese is indicative of a calcium imbalance, the stones should therefore have a calcium constituent in it. A good homeopath will be able to guide and cure the malady once for all. After all the surgery can be done any time, if all other avenues are exhausted.
Medicine should be taken only after consulting a homeopathic doctor.

Seek the advice of a qualified medical professional. While milk thistle has been suggested to help reduce gallstones, this can take years. In the meantime, your wife's health is at significant risk. There are no proven herbal therapies to cure gallstones; answer #1 should be ignored. Don't you think insurance companies would opt for that olive oil and lemon juice therapy over a $ 10,000 surgery if it really worked?
Her doctors should conduct an ultrasound and probably follow-up with a CAT scan. Not all patients require immediate surgery. The real risk comes from a gallstone lodging in the bile duct. Cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal) is the most commonly performed surgery in the US. It is safe and effective where called for. Your wife's doctors should know best. Seek second opinions as necessary.
