The main difference you are going to see between dogs and wolves is in behavior, not physiology. Wolves are believed to be the ancestors to all of todays domesticated dogs, so the difference is actually not much. However, too get a good understanding of wolves try a book by Farley Mowat. He is a great writer that has studied wolves for many years. As far as your wolf digestive tract, try any science book on mammal physiology and it should have a discourse on predator digestive systems.
