Do you know of programs for free testing and surgery for a hiatal hernia & other digestive related problems?I have been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and possibly other digestive related conditions and cannot afford to pay the high cost for testing and surgery nor can I afford the costly insurance premiums that we have in Kentucky especially for woman in their 50's. Several years ago I was tested and had problems with my esophagus and colon. I need testing done on upper and lower digestive systems. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I would call your local hospital or clinic.
They might have that information. And I know of
on in Evansville, Indiana that does all kinds of testing
and research, but alas, the name eludes me.
You might also, call St. Mary's hospital in Evansville, IN
they might have some input for you.
Louisville, Ky has a few research clinic's. And also,
Madisonville, Ky has a free clinic, I'm pretty sure.
