How long has it been since you had a bowel movement??Try a gentle laxative and drink lots of water and juice. If that does not work go to the doctor. You could have a bowel obstruction. If your bowel should rupture it could be fatal. Don't mean to scare you but it is serious business.

It sounds like you are constipated and you are experiencing gas pain. Drink lots of water, but don't take a stimulating laxative. If you do have a bowel blockage, a laxative that stimulates peristalsis (movement) in the bowels can really hurt you and cause an emergency medical condition. Eat foods high in fiber and drink lots of water. Lay on your tummy and gently roll your body from side to side to try and expel the gas. This should help the pain. If you don't have a bowel movement in the next day or so, call a doctor and make an appointment. Don't take anymore pepto bismol. It will cause you to become even more constipated!!

go to the drug store and spend about 5 bucks on a package of stool softener.. take three or four of them.. they will draw water to your colon and make your stool soft.. they are not NOT laxative.. you can take them every day for the rest of you life and not hurt you.. they are not drugs..need no prescription and are not habit forming.. gettem and takem.. as often as you need.. you will feel much better.. good luck
