Digestive tract? Is that new yogurt "Abreva" better for digestive tract management than regular yogurt?? I have IBS but don't want to pay three times the amount for something that always has been in regular yogurt. Thanks.

Basically all those new yogurts like Activia (not familar with the one u mention) have MAN MADE probiotiocs that the company MANUFACTURES in their lab. U are much better off just taking acidopholus found in health food stores (refridgerated kind only). or eating PLAIN yogurt with acidopholus, such as yoplait, and add your own sweetener.

FYI: IBS is VERY commonly a misdiagnosis for what is really Celiac Disease. If you are interested in finding out more (1 in 133 ppl have CD, its a very common autoimmune disease whos symtpoms are often misdiagnosed as IBS--which really means no known cause.) see the links below.

You might want to try a probiotic called Florastor, it is OTC and it does work for IBS related diarrhea. I can't tell you much about yogurt.
