Digestive Symptoms?Weird taste in mouth
Upper abdominal discomfort ( irritated, mildy sharp at times)
Mild pain behind breastbone
Tenderness around stomach area
Hicupps
Burping
Muscle pains in back
i got a upper GI done about 4 yrs ago and they spotted mild inflammation of the small intestines. i had this same symptoms but went away. also, i had an ultrasound and they found nothing..i also have reflux at night but meds seem to half work most of the time. my doctor says its just reflux..what do you think?

Reflux. Continue with meds and sleep slightly elevated. Try to avoid acidic foods and juices and fruits such as oranges etc. Do not lay down for at least 3 hours after eating. Reflux untreated or not controlled opens the door for other gastro problems. So if your meds and other above methods do not work you might need different meds. or another work up.

It doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. Go to an internal specialist or doctor who specializes in internal medicine.
