Digestive enzymes?

Digestive enzymes?My husband has digestion problems. He needs to pass gas every now and then and also burps a lot. What can be done? I heard that this is because of lack of digestive enzymes. Can anyone suggest what can be done?

I saw a woman on Oprah with the same condition..and the doctor suggested digestive enzymes but she was specifically talking about the changes in a woman's body...I don't know if it will work for your husband.

I tried taking digestive enzymes but they didn't work. As a matter of fact, I didn't notice any changes whatsoever.

Then I cleaned up my diet. I started to eat more veggies, fresh foods, eliminated red meats, had low fat meats, stopped eating white flour products, etc. Now I don't have any more problems.
