depression causing digestive problems etc.???I THINK i am suffering from a mix of depressioin and i have panic attacks on scedle really... but i think i began to actually be depressed 2 years ago..and last year it was okay i guess...but people even tell me i'm not like i used to be and i seem depressed and quote " borred with life in general" it runs in my immediate family..(moms bipolar) and it seems like since those 2 years ago...i'm always sick...examples: i always had colds ( had bad case of mono) and now...i'm pretty much turned lactose intolerant like my insides hate me and just want to torcher me...my doctor says she doesn't know what causes it...i even had real bad cases of migraines to where i could hardly get up and it was just horrible...i thought i was going to die from being sick..
honestly, i'm sick of being sick..and i don't know what to do...
i've kind of been thinking that i do have a type of depression and that mainly because i haven't delt with it, i'm constantly sick. could depression be the cause???

Yes, being depressed could reduce the efficiency of your immune system and anxiety/panic attacks can cause digestive problems. If you are not relaxed, you're body cannot digest foods properly. Having a panic attack can be like going for a jog right after a heavy lunch.
You should talk to your doctor about your panic attacks. Anxiety can feel a lot like depression and even cause depression.

Now here's an easy anatomy quiz.
The human body is controlled by the brain within it.
True or False.
My point is, your mind controls your body. When you are sick, instead of focusing on being sick, focus on something positive. If your mind is depressed, your body will follow.
You have to want to be better before you will get better.
Give your body what it needs to feel good. Eat healthy and get some exercise. If either one of those seems too much for you to do, then you really do not want to get better, and you are causing your own problems.
